PCBefore #Rome, the main #civilization in northwest #Italian peninsula was the #Etruscans. The population were absorbed into Rome as citizens and brought the proto-Greek alphabet. This became Rome’s #Latin alphabet after it was reversed in order and direction.
They called themselves the #Rasenna. It’s easy to read their name if you read the proto-Greek letters right to left or in a mirror image.
