Although I’m an #atheist I do subscribe to this as I find the programme relaxing and comforting, especially when driving! I can’t be the only one on the planet who does this?

Am now listening instead to cosmical classical music on #BBC #RadioThree, which is celebrating the output of the Hubble Space Telescope. Remember those three #PillarsOfHeaven?

I listen to R3 most days, either as background or foreground. I also use streaming. I like the curation, the archive, the feeling of connection to the world, live performance, the Proms.
The current attacks on musicians erode the potential for exciting performances by skilled in-house bands and force buy ins, often from more staid institutions. R3 would lose its identity and would probably be sold off.
The bonfire of the vanities did not end well for Florence.
