StarravenAs a kid, the original #BattlestarGalactica series was my second encounter with science fiction, after Star Wars. At first, I of course gravitated to Starbuck and Apollo, the pilots, but on later rewatchings, I found a new appreciation for Colonel Tigh. He was the model officer, competent, confident, strict but lenient when needed, and also with a devious cunning streak, much to politicians' dismay.
No finer actor than Terry Carter could have played him.

Der aus der ersten „Battlestar Galactica“-Serie bekannte Terry Carter ist im Alter von 95 Jahren gestorben. Man kannte ihn außerdem noch aus „The Phil Silvers Show“, wo er als einer der ersten Schwarzen Sitcom-Hauptdarsteller galt.
