To commemorate #QyeenVictoria's 1900 visit to Ireland, a big bronze statue by John Hughes was erected in 1908 on the lawn of #LeinsterHouse in central Dublin.

It was firmslly called the #Victoria Memorial. #JamesJoyce called it "the auld bitch".
