I finished this WIP that’s been on the wall for far too long, but I’m not happy. It’s huge for a wallhanging, the cross-outs don’t really work and tension in the seams are pretty bunch-y
On this year’s #QuiltBingo card, I have a “Frog a Project” square. This might be the project 🤔
One of the items on #QuiltBingo this year is Merry Month of May. I put it on there in the hopes of getting some holiday projects done earlier than last minute. But I forgot that means a bunch of small #quilting projects on my plate all at once, and lots of small projects make me anxious
Right now I'm stressing over 6 Advent calendars, 8 mug rugs, 2 Santa hats, a curtain valance, a wallhanging and a Xmas quilt (possibly some trinket trays, too!)

As of the first week in May, it's looking a bit skimpy, but I may have 3 more to mark off by the end of the month? Hopefully?
Appliqué was not what I had in mind when I put an abecedary on my #QuiltBingo card this year, but the Counting on Christmas pattern that I made for Advent one year kind of clicked recently as an option
I printed out a bunch of different font choices this weekend and really like this layout
And it’s finished! The top is, at least; I won’t get it quilted until this summer
With #InarticulateRed now done, I can mark off the “Inspired by music” square on my 2026 #QuiltBingo card
(Funnily enough, I had a completely different song in mind when I put that square on the card, but I’m glad I made this one when the idea popped into my head. It’s been a a good quilt for remembering my 80s youth)

Abecedary quilt, 48-hr project and quilt a Weeble are some I'm really looking forward to. I don't even know what a quilting side quest would be, but I liked the idea of one and I'm sure I'll figure it out as 2026 goes on

Have managed to make it to the last day of August without buying any fabric this month. If I can hold on, just a few hours more, I'll get to mark that square off my #QuiltBingo card... but these Labor Day sales are killing me
