@blogoklahoma remember the House Republicans futilely voted over 50 times to repeal Obamacare. The longer this goes on the more it looks like a shutdown, a #QuietShutdown (like #QuietQuitting).

@KagroX do you think this is a #QuietShutdown (like #QuietQuitting)? They aren’t violating their oaths of office because they haven’t been sworn in yet. The longer they go without a Speaker it’ll look more and more like a shutdown. We know MAGA want to burn the Fed gov to the ground.

Some MAGA are suggesting McCarthy might make a deal with Dems to get elected Speaker. What planet are they living on? Kevin suggested he’d hit Pelosi with the gravel when it’s handed over. Trump still supports him. Dems couldn’t trust Kevin to stick to a power sharing agreement. He’s feckless and wouldn’t testify about J6.

I think this is a quiet shutdown. The GOP doesn’t want a functional Federal government. #QuietShutdown
