I gave a lightning talk at a bunch of conferences in 2025 about some of the exciting new things coming in Python 3.14, including template strings.

One thing we can use t-strings for is to prevent SQL injection. I illustrated this with xkcd 327 aka “Little Bobby Tables”.

I just watched "Why Your Async Code Might Be Slower" by Aastha (Sat, Innovathens Stage, 15:10) on the #PyConGreece live stream. Which was a very good round-up of the topic.

A nice thing about the streams is that they are easy to navigate, because the title of the current talk is permanently in the picture. This makes it a breeze find the talk you want to see.
