OK, so #ProtocolRain had a competent if mostly unsurprising finale. Mio-chan remains way too pure and precious for this world, so of course she ended up standing on her own legs by the end.

I am unsure if it was possible for Protocol: Rain to have a less satisfying ending with worse tropes than it had. Wow. Just horrible. I will 100% be writing up something scathing on this one.

#ProtocolRain #Anime

Once again, Protocol: Rain manages to make basically zero sense while being all over the place this week.

It's so confusing, I'm not even sure where to begin explaining how bad it is. #Anime #ProtocolRain

So I just got time to catch up on #ProtocolRain and... What the hell is this #anime doing?

I thought this would be a middling romantic comedy based around esports but it's quickly becoming an extremely messed up representation of #Disabled people.

I don't wanna drop spoilers for the latest episode but I'm just so extremely confused and mildly disgusted at what the story seems to be going for and I could really use more people to talk to about it to help get my thoughts together.

Das #Anime #Streaming Programm für Samstag, den 02.12.

Das Wochenende ist da und bringt euch Neues von #SpyxFamily, #ProtocolRain und #DieTagebücherderApothekerin!

Nice way to bring those two into the fold. #ProtocolRain
I could have done without the gratuitous bath scene whilst Nozo was working all this out though. #ProtocolRain
#ProtocolRain continues to have good character work sustaining a premise of very little interest to me. Mio-chan may be paraplegic but this little girl has a will of iron and is STILL waaaay too precious for this world. The incipient romantic rivalry between Yu and Nozo I could do without though, although at least Nozo doesn’t seem to be prone to the usual body image issues that come up so often (and so badly) in anime: Nozo is a cutie and she knows it. :)

Also Yu-chan needs to grow a spine and confess already to Shun-kun. This whole “cannot spit it out” subplot in #ProtocolRain is getting OLD already. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CannotSpitItOut

Besides, even with the limited interactions in this episode I give Mio-chan better than even odds of having guessed already. Girl is in a wheelchair, not stupid, and deeply devoted to her brother: yeah, she precious and she KNOWS.

Cannot Spit It Out - TV Tropes

There is a piece of vital information that would clear up a character's problems, whether it is a misunderstanding of romance or combat. If the character would just spit it out already, it would save entire episodes', if not entire seasons' worth …
