First, I sorry you (or anyone) had to go through any of that.
My own experience of SA was when I was so young I have only fragmentary memories. So I grew up able to deceive myself that my childhood was fine -- which as you note makes it easier to discount (and maybe in my case made me more likely to discount) the stories of survivors.
But having spent many years healing I know that anyone willing to face the rejection, denial, and counter accusations that come with accusing even a normal citizen would not do so idly.
So I tell people that the fact that someone has fought to get their story into these documents is proof enough of the truth they tell.
Your story, those in some of the replies, and the stories of victims/survivors of the Epstein class show great courage. I hope most people hear them that way. I know the Epstein class do, even if they won't admit it. They know what happened, and they fear this truth being known.
So I second your hashtags: #BelieveVictims #BelieveSurvivors #ProsecuteTheEpsteinClass
