"The Classical" by The Fall sounds the closest they've ever got to sounded like Prolapse (or maybe the other way round). If you're not listening carefully "parallax" could sound like "prolapse" I suppose.

I must have arrived at about the same time as Mark Hibbett but I missed him this time: "saw the end of the support band, Moderate Rebels"
His review is good: https://mjhibbett.co.uk/blog/showblog.php?blogid=3959
MJ Hibbett & The Validators are an indie band from the UK Midlands founded in 1999, most famous for the world's first viral hit song ('Hey Hey 16K'), the rock opera 'Dinosaur Planet' and the albums 'WE VALIDATE!' (performed live on Radio One) and 'Regardez, Ecoutez Et Repetez' (a 6Music Album Of The Day).
I wish they would turn up Linda's vocals. She was a bit quiet on Sunday too.
They didn't play "Tina This is Matthew Stone" (not a favourite of mine). Obviously they played "Flex" - their fans are too old for a stage invasion now.
The new single by #ProlapseBand is getting played on #bbc6music and on #RadioX , and their gig on Sunday sold out. Maybe they're going to be big.

They sounded great at #TheLexington, better than they have for years (maybe the engineer and sound system helped). They also played some songs that I don't remember them playing since they reformed.

I have a busy month of gigs ahead - ✅ means I have a ticket, ❔means I am interested.
I might see #ArtOfThis if they haven't sold out (#ArtOfNoise rhythm section plus Paul Morley and Ian Peel). I have a ticket for a #TrevorHorn talk at the Haymarket in Basingstoke (the last time I was there was to see a Philip Glass opera), #ProlapseBand at the Lexington (normally horrible craft beer), #PsychedelicFurs at the London Palladium, and #AdamAnt in #Basingstoke.
