My #DeanGuitars #banjo #guitar arrived! It's got that Gran Sport / SG shape that #Gibson decided decades later they didn't like Armadillo using.

I haven't played it for long but, acousticly those plain strings (post removing tape) sound really cool; #ethereal. I was originally planning tuning it BEAD--what's those higher strings? 😆 Now, I'm rethinking actually tuning it 1 string higher instead of lower.

Eventually I do want to replace the drum head with a real skin. Keep it au natural & traditional, ya know?

There's a Southern #Gothic playlist floating around. Between that & the bands on #ProjektRecords. That's my inspiration. Let's see where things go!
