New conference paper from #GHGT! This one takes a different tack at explaining the 2021 risk-based #AreaOfReview method and shows off the real permit for #ProjectTundra. #CO2Storage

"Risk-based area of review estimation in overpressured reservoirs to support injection well storage facility permit requirements for CO2 storage projects"

More recent #carbonstorage #co2storage news: a second storage project in #NorthDakota (#ProjectTundra) has received the necessary permits.

This project is larger than the #RedTrail project (4 Mtpa vs 180 ktpa), but still has funding and construction hurdles to get over before injection can start (it's harder to capture #CO2 from a coal-fired power plant than an ethanol plant).
