Abandoned Place: Ruins of the Air Research Hydrogen Research station near Boron, California. This was part of the the USAF Project Suntan which was trying to develop the Lockheed CL-400, a Mach 3 hydrogen powered spy plane. The program was canceled in 1958 and the more conventional A-12 / SR-71was developed.
