Even cheap building wastes time on wrong features. Use GenAI for faster Fake Door and Wizard of Oz tests. Vet ideas upstream to avoid feature bloat.

At #ProductCamp, someone said: ‘My friend at a startup uses GenAI for all their code: great quality.’ Then dismissed studies from last fall as ‘outdated.’

I froze. Better responses:
• A startup’s risk profile isn’t a mature company’s
• Quality may hold for the first 100-200k lines, not long-term
• The flaws are in how models are trained and rewarded: fundamental

We learned something that would not work, fast.

ProductCamp Berlin is by far my favorite community event and a fun #barcamp. It runs for over 10 years and helped a lot to grow a strong #prodmgmt community in #berlin. Going there is like coming home.
Yesterday I met with so many old and new people, had numerous interesting chats, and I can say that I, again, have been the very last person to walk out it in the late evening with @brsma 😎
