Kap-Klippschliefer in der Wilhelma (Stuttgart)

Schliefer kommen auch in der Bibel vor – dort werden sie aber meist als "Klippdachse" bezeichnet (früher allerdings ganz falsch als "Kaninchen"). Schliefer haben allerdings mit Dachsen nichts zu tun. Die nächsten heute lebenden Verwandten der knapp murmeltiergroßen Tiere sind Elefanten und Seekühe. Also eher "Klippfant" als "Klippdachs", liebe Bibelgesellschaften.
