I have two #Mastodon accounts, & I’m unsure how to differentiate them. This one at   #cville.online, & the other, created when the 1st was offline for some DNS issues, at #Privacysafe.social.
Use the latter for more geeky stuff? I dunno. I want them to be similar to each other, but different flavors. Just don’t know what flavors I should use!
For sure I want to use this account to encourage more geographic local engagement. When I look at the local timeline it’s just me, Matt, & @Lyle

They had no alternative because mail uses classical style federation, in which provider always has metadata to perform service.
In contrast, there is a web style federation, in which vendor isn't given communication metadata.
