(Adnkronos) - "Abbiamo fatto investimenti molto importanti, non solo sul personale ma anche sul più grande ricambio di mezzi dell’epoca repubblicana e su nuove tecnologie”. Lo ha detto il sottosegretario di Stato al Ministero dell’Interno Emanuele Prisco intervenendo alla quinta edizione di LetExpo. “Dall’inizio del mandato – ha spiegato – abbiamo investito oltre 500 milioni di euro in nuove tecnologie per innalzare il livello di sicurezza degli operatori del soccorso, che svolgono un lavoro ovviamente pericoloso, ma anche per garantire maggiore sicurezza ai cittadini. Con strumenti più efficaci si possono aiutare le persone”.
