did you know there are already passive-elastic and powered exoskeletons that you can buy to help you lift heavier stuff?

we looked into it at work a while ago and gave the logistics folks in the warehouse a bunch of these, I figured the fediverse needed to hear about the existence of these because I hadn't really realized they already existed in industrial and well tested widely used forms

Finished my second play through of Fallout New Vegas since the year the game was first released. Heavily modded of course and yeah the T.V. show inspired this! I remember on launch day I had to download a community modified d3d9.dll just to make the buggy 1.0 build of the game launch and run without being a slideshow. With some help the game certainly held up.

Light Cybernetic Powered Infantry. These are the guys I use for Urban Fighting or even in Marine Operations between Dropships. Based on P.A.L. Battle Armor construction rules and my current campaign, I build enough to outfit enough squads for a platoon and use them as a platoon sized unit.
