Exactly one month after the Supreme Court ruled we can't use 'Post Milk Generation' on our products, we have officially retired the slogan here in the UK. As some of you may have noticed, we haven't actually used the forbidden m-word in our marketing for a while (and we're doing pretty well without it). So it felt like the right time to put the slogan out to pasture, and in true Oatly style we gave it the send off it deserved. After swinging past the Supreme Court 😉 .... our Post Milk Generation Outlet van parked up in the aptly named Cowcross Yard and we gave away the remainder of our hoodies, stickers, t-shirts & socks. And we didn't miss the opportunity to remind folk that even though we can't use the word, they still can. Whether people chose to frame it, wear it or try and explain it at dinner parties, we hope the 'illegal' merch lives on as a limited -edition cultural artefact in homes and hearts across the UK as a meaningful reminder of a chapter in the brand’s history. If you didn’t make it down and want to be part of the Post Milk Generation forevermore, there’s still a chance to get your hands on some merch - just email [email protected] to enter our prize draw* | 22 comments on LinkedIn
