* The weather is unusually nice for this time of year. Enjoy walking or riding a rented bike along the lake front.

* #Portillos restaurants have beefy burgers, "Chicago-style" hot dogs, and the best chocolate cake on Earth. (You're welcome.)

* If locals are confused by your questions about #WillisTower, try referring to it (correctly) as the #SearsTower.

* The #museums here are some of the best in the world, and each is worth the cost of admission. Most are within walking distance of each other in "The Museum Campus."

* A lot of locals are a little nervous after that #Chicago1968 mess. Please help calm their nerves.

* #OHareAirport is in the suburbs. You can take the “North Central Line” of the #Metra #trains to go between the airport and downtown.

* #RTA trains run within the city. They are always called “The L” ("elevated trains") even when they're underground.

I get having a favorite restaurant/business (like, #portillos is like that for me), but I don't see what elevated bucees from to the point of obsession that I see from some people
