arghh moment while tweaking my #gopher client config this morning:

why does everyone blindly use "h" as a selector for both an html file AND a url that may or may not be a html file (like a Gemini url).

The only answer I have is to only display directory and query selectors in my client because frankly most selectors are either obsolete or useless.

stumbling around gopher in my pyjamas this morning I saw an inline picture. Before snapping my laptop shut in wretched fear, I checked to see if the sky had darkened. It hadn't, so what is this infamous devilry? Turns out it's just a markdown file, and as I'm running Chawan in Kitty it automatically displays .md files with image content. Phew, I almost ran to church.
