@dalias @Fratm @SecurityWriter Wikipedia FTW:

"Many progressive theorists argue that by ignoring the political nature of everyday life, "neutral" individuals make a choice to ignore oppressive regimes and practises, which manifests as an acceptance and passive approval of them"

What I could find (DDG, again) was this story around La Casa Italiana on Columbia University's campus:

"the Casa's Director in the 1930s, often declared that his institution was politically neutral [...] Records indicate, however, that Jewish club meetings and a series of Marxist lectures—once hosted by the Casa—vanished partway through the 1930s."

@dalias @Fratm @SecurityWriter I love this sentence, thanks for that ❤️ 🔥

That said, I would love a robust explanation of the link between political neutrality and fascism.
