I live next door to the office building where the Polish Consulate is located in Los Angeles. Yesterday I noticed a small group of protestors in front of the building as I walked to a cafe for breakfast. I approached one of them at random and asked "What are you protesting?"

It turned out that the woman barely spoke English, but after a bit of thinking, she proclaimed "The Polish government *sucks*, and we want freedom."

Move over, Thomas Jefferson.

The #PolishUprising has radicalised! A transitional council similar to the one in #Belarus has now been created with the aim of a return to democracy and evidence-based, rational, participatory decision-making. This is also similar to the #SudaneseRevolution - wide but imperfect consensus between activist groups.
