Just got my new ADS-B antenna, which was a significant upgrade from my prior whip antenna.

Now supporting power to the antenna, 23.15dbi gain, and have window mounted for better line of sight to the Darling Scarp and beyond.

The horizontal detection radius has doubled to nearly 300km, and easily capturing anything 35,000ft and above.

Just need to put the bias tee in an ABS case now for a little protection.

Door het drammerige gepush van @planefinder moet je telkens reclames wegklikken. Ik heb de app nu maar helemaal weg geklikt van mijn toestel. #planefinder is vervangen door #flightradar24. Na lang aankijken was de maat vol: ze irriteren meer dan dat ze iets toevoegen.

So it looks like enthusiast #ADSB network #ADSBExchange is going to be the basis of competition for #FlightAware, #FlightRadar24, #PlaneFinder and #RadarBox. But for a site that started to freely exchange #ADSB data, is that going to continue?
