What an utterly lovely film is Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio. Go see it.
Не могу отделаться от параллелей между «Pinocchio» и «Pan's Labyrinth». Крч, дель Торо буквально снял ещё одну мрачную сказку в антураже Италии тех времён, когда там было модно вскидывать руку к солнцу.
А в целом вышло неплохо, правда без особо восторга. Ровно, симпатично, но без оваций.
И давненько не пересматривал «Pan's Labyrinth».
I watched del Toro's Pinocchio last night. I'm not usually a fan of stop-motion, but that film was gorgeous.
I dunno if I was just getting sleepy near the end, but it felt like it lost a bit of steam there. The carnival stuff were really my favorite parts. Probably because I love Christoph Waltz.
Watched Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio and it was excellent!! Definitely going to watch it many many times.
