Last weekend, I went for a stroll to the Museum of #FineArts in #Valencia, in addition to taking refuge from the heat wave 🔥 😳

Although I have seen some of these works 🎨 many times, I never get tired of these paintings. My favorite part of the building is the one that shows #traditional local #clothing from the late 19th and early 20th centuries

The first picture is of a painting by Ignacio Pinazo, an impressionist Painter from Valencia, España. It is titled Las Hijas del Cid, or the Daughters of El Cid, finished in 1879.

The second photo is of the statue in his honor in Valencia that I took this evening. I love that my city respects its artists and poets.
