The Peter Mitchell exhibition at the Photographers’ Gallery (London) is fabulous.

He has spent his life photographing ‘dying buildings’, scarecrows, working class communities, etc in Leeds.

My snaps do NOT do justice to his work at all.

It’s only ten quid to go into the Photographers’ Gallery (five if you have an Art Pass) and that gives you access to all the exhibitions they have on.

He predicted the future admirably, thinking we would live in a world hypnotized by images and ensnared by consumption.
And this this boring and unimaginative exhibition is proof of that.

I did go to see the Deutsche Borse exhibition at the #PhotographersGallery but it suffers from the place being small enough that you don't really get to see much from any entrant - this is a perennial issue there.

However "A Hard Man Is Good To Find!" https://thephotographersgallery.org.uk/whats-on/hard-man-good-find is one of their solid London social documentary pieces, in this case about post-war "male physique photography". Gives context not only of society at the time but also individual models and photographers.
