Chrome users: Chrome BROKE (https://developer.chrome.com/blog/visited-links) the visited link functionality that distincts out the links your browser already visited. It's a big deal, #Petrolette UX relies on it. Currently working on Pétrolette2 which will handle this internally and no longer rely on browser buggy (yes, it IS a bug, I have no time for this now) implementations. In the meantime, #Chrome users, here is a workaround:
chrome://flags/#partition-visited-link-database-with-self-links / Select "Disabled"
The #petrolette (cloud) host is down, investigating, please bear with us.
In the meantime remember that you can install and use it locally: https://framagit.org/yphil/petrolette
git clone https://framagit.org/yphil/petrolette.git
cd petrolette
npm install
npm run dev
xdg-open http://localhost:8000
SSL Certificates renewed just now ; Thanks for helping #Pétrolette!
Another little app from the #Petrolette team 🙂
Zapete is a nifty remote control for any computer in your local network.
Did you know 💡
That SMPlayer, hands down the best #media #player for the #desktop (smplayer.info) can play online #video from ANY URL? Yes, the *PAGE* URL! Wanna try? Drag & drop any item from a media #Pétrolette feed into the playlist (Ctrl+L) and you're free from autoplays forever 😎
- #Odysee
- #Rumble
- #BitChute
- #Twitter (no, not Twitter 🤐)
- #YouTube
- ...
So now you only have ONE player / source, set of controls, ONE playlist (that you can even save!) yeah, I know you didn't know.
#Pétrolette now has a Ohm 😎
