Agi: La bimba morta per maltrattamenti a Bordighera, convalidato il fermo di Iannuzzi

AGI - Si è avvalso della facoltà di non rispondere Emanuel Iannuzzi, il 42enne arrestato sabato scorso con l'accusa di maltrattamenti aggravati e continuati che avrebbero portato alla morte della piccola Beatrice, figlia di 2 anni della compagna Emanuela Aiello, nella sua casa di Perinaldo (Bordighera), in provincia di Imperia.
Iannuzzi è stato sottoposto a interrogatorio di garanzia questa mattina in procura a Imperia. Quasi un'ora dopo l'interrogatorio della madre della piccola, anche lei accusata di maltrattamenti aggravati dalla morte della bimba. Beatrice era stata trovata morta lo scorso 8 febbraio.
Bordighera, convalidato l'arresto
Il gip ha convalidato l'arresto e l'accusa resta quella di maltrattamenti aggravati. Secondo quanto spiegato dai legali dell'uomo, Iannuzzi avrebbe voluto rispondere alle domande, ma nonostante gli atti siano stati richiesti sabato alla cancelleria del gip, nel momento stesso in cui veniva disposta la misura cautelare, fino a oggi non ci sono stati forniti. Dietro consiglio dei difensori, non ha risposto; sarebbe stato un rispondere alla cieca".

AGI - Emanuel Iannuzzi, the 42-year-old arrested last Saturday on charges of aggravated and repeated mistreatment that led to the death of 2-year-old Beatrice, daughter of his partner Emanuela Aiello, in his house in Perinaldo (Bordighera), in the province of Imperia, exercised his right to remain silent.
Iannuzzi was questioned at the magistrate's office this morning in Imperia. Almost an hour after the questioning of the girl’s mother, who is also accused of aggravated mistreatment stemming from the girl’s death. Beatrice was found dead on February 8th.
Bordighera, Arrest Validated
The investigating judge (GIP) validated the arrest and the charges remain those of aggravated mistreatment. According to the man’s lawyers, Iannuzzi wanted to answer questions, but despite the documents being requested on Saturday at the magistrate’s office, at the very moment the precautionary measure was ordered, they had not been provided until today. Following the advice of his defense team, he did not respond; it would have been a blind answer.
