I wish I had a good answer, I'm still looking. At first I thought #Adyen looked good, until I learned about the monthly minimum invoice, which seems like a new business killer. Did you evaluate them?

Square is Jack Dorsey and cryptocurrency. Braintree was bought by PayPal (evil). Others are expensive/small/not great for other reasons.

Maybe go with any and then switch to Adyen if business grows big enough?
