Over 100 stalls and 50,000 visitors enjoying a huge variety of foods and tasty delights in blazing sunshine. The #Festival stalls started in the #PavilionTheatre car park, stretching past out back door (1 metre away!), all down the #harbourside (300 metres) and back along the other side. Our guests had a fantastic foodie day all within a short and delicious stroll

A column of beautifully sculpted putti on the Renfrew Street facade of Glasgow's Pavilion Theatre. Designed in a French Baroque style by Bertie Crewe, it was built in 1902. The facade isn't made from stone, but rather from terracotta, giving it an unusual colour and appearance.

There are some amazingly detailed decorative panels on the early Edwardian Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow. Made from terracotta (rather than sculpted in stone), they feature a variety of subjects, including this one with a central grotesque which appears to be based on Puck, the mischievous prankster of Celtic mythology.

The Pavilion Theatre on Renfield Street in Glasgow. Designed by Bertie Crewe in a French Baroque style, it opened as the Palace of Varieties in the 29th of February 1904, making it one of Glasgow's oldest surviving theatres. In 1920, it put on its first pantomine, an annual event that was many Glaswegian kids first taste of visiting a theatre. It continues to put on pantomimes each Christmas to this day.
