26 public swimming pools remain shuttered across the city, but a third phase for opening up additional pools is in the works, Matt Musil, a spokesperson for the department said on Tuesday.

The Alief Neighborhood Center and Park community pool is set to open back up next Tuesday. The third pool opening phase could be announced in coming days.
