The #PWHL finals between Montreal and Ottawa were great this year (again)!

And just about 10 minutes after watching the celebration, I realized that these great teams are likely going to look completely different next year because of the expansion 😭

The league is going from 8 teams to 12. How is that going to work exactly…? Who will retire? What else is in the works?

#PWHL might be heading to an all-Canadian Finals for the Walter Cup!

Yesterday, the Ottawa Charge defeated the Boston Fleet.

And today, the Montreal Victoire and Minnesota Frost are battling it out in the final game of their semifinal series—one that has been a classic for the ages.

Also, in the PWHL’s entire three year history, the Frost have been the lone Walter Cup champions. If they do a threepeat, that will be impressive as hell.

Nevertheless, I’m rooting for a Victoire win since this would be a huge deal in Canada.

Just saw the Ottawa Charge vs. Boston Fleet highlights.

And this is must see!

Because Ottawa’s goalie, Gwyneth Philips, was a cat. She was had razor reflexes. Stood on her head while facing a firing squad.

MINNESOTA FROST WITH THE OVERTIME GOAL!

They take Game 1.

Jincy Roese comes in clutch.

Bitter medicine for the Montreal Victoire. They battled back to tie but Frost closed the deal.

This was a great game. One of the best playoff games I’ve seen for awhile. Such a hard physical game with lots of goals. But Minnesota are the defending champs for a reason.

Final score: Montreal 4-5 Minnesota Frost

Minnesota almost stole that game right in the closing seconds but Montreal stood tall.
