Back in 1995, Reflections took an approach to racing games that nobody had seriously considered before.
What if, instead of gaining points for doing well in the traditional manner, though keeping that option available, racers could gain points by damaging their opponents' cars?
What resulted was the strangely compelling Destruction Derby.
Destruction Derby.
Back in 1995, Reflections released a racing game, whose approach hadn't really been seriously considered before.
Gain points... by damaging your opponent's cars.
For some reason, I feel an urge to return to this game. ๐
Resident Evil.
The OG, and... quite possibly, my favourite story in the entire series.
Oh sure, the acting was a bit cheesy, but to me, that adds to the charm of this game. ๐๐
A double helping of Anime style action, adventure... and fear.
It's Fear Effect 1 & 2.
V-Rally.
While Colin McRae Rally had smoother handling & followed a more traditional form of Rallying (timed runs instead of racing against each other), V-Rally has a charm all of its own.
From the Skoda Felicia Kit Car to the mighty Subaru Impreza 555, there was a wide verity of cars to race, and some say that the tracks themselves are more challenging than Colin McRae Rally.
Definitely one to watch. ๐
Crash Team Racing.
A kart racer featuring everyone's favourite bandicoot & his friends... and foes, in a zany, madcap race for the ultimate prize...
...Planet Earth!
Some JRPG action with 4 heroes in the land of Forsia.
It's Blaze & Blade.
This is the Ridge Racer High - Spec Demo.
More a technical exercise than a complete game, this demo ran the game at 50 FPS with increased resolution.
Because of this, only Time Attack & Time Trial modes were available.
When my sister first got her PlayStation, Ridge Racer Type 4 was one of the 2 games she got with it. (The other 1 being 1 of the Oddworld games.)
So, this was actually my first ever played PlayStation game.
