absolutely minimalist shunting proa.

note: the mast mounted inboard of the waka allegedly makes the shunt more challenging. the sail boom tends to flap a bit.

note: the daggerboard in the center of the waka windward side is too far back with the CE of the small sail being more forward.

I am more interested in moving a bit more cargo and myself. Looks like I'll need a bit more floatation, like maybe five times.

In alther video Dominic comments about the weight on the proa training a friend to learn to sail the proa. Each of weigh about 60kg, plus the proa weighs about 60kg.

So at a total of 180kg, the proa spends a lot of time a bit to close to the water line. Ama under it.
