I’ve implemented new security rules to block requests from systems that seem to be scraping media from #PNWZone. Please let me know if you encounter any errors while using the site, as I don’t want to block legitimate users.

#PNWZone was impacted by the #Cloudflare outage between 5:05am and 6:30am PT today. Our servers quickly caught up on the backlog of posts that were queued up during the outage and all systems appear to be operating normally now.

Ok. Claude helped me determine that 3 out the 64 4.4 DB migrations scripts were not completed in July (had no impact - just left some cruft in the DB that prevented the 4.5 DB migration scripts from running). Those are now cleaned up and I'll be starting the 4.5.0 migration now. No downtime is anticipated. #PNWZone

I've finished patching the backend servers, but the actual Mastodon 4.5.0 upgrade is running into a couple issues, so we're up and running fine with 4.4.8 for the time being. I'll continue to debug the 4.5.0 migration scripts. #PNWZone

Reminder! Tomorrow's #PNWZone maintenance starts at 6am PT. We'll be doing some server upgrades at the same time as the Mastodon 4.5 upgrade, so we could be offline for until 8am or so.
