Harvard made a preclinical drug-free nasal spray that blocks & neutralizes viruses & bacteria. It forms a gel that traps respiratory droplets to prevent infection.

In a 3D-printed human nose, it stopped almost 100% of all viruses/bacteria tested, including Influenza, SARS-CoV-2, RSV, adenovirus, and K Pneumonia.

In mice, it blocked influenza (PR8) at 25x lethal dose + reduced lung virus levels by >99.99%.
