Weekend #repair project: I found a set of Creative Labs #P580 5.1 speakers, but without a volume control dongle so they didn't power on. I added the missing power switch and volume and bass controls directly on the connection panel, and wired them to the amplifier circuit board. It works, and they sound quite nice!
