It’s been such a beautiful winter’s day here ☀️
I had an appointment in St Clair this morning, so I took the opportunity to look at the surf and surfers. Even in a wetsuit that water must be invigorating 😆

This week’s Tuesday adventure may be the last in this series!
Some of you may recall that for the past few weeks I’ve been a chauffeur for Mum, who injured her hands in a fall. On Tuesdays I drive her to Pilates, and while she’s there I spend the hour walking around the area. It’s been fun exploring a less familiar part of town!
Mum is now driving shorter distances and hopes to manage the trip to Pilates herself in future.
So today I made the most of some time with the trees at Jubilee Park and gazed at the lovely view from Unity Park.
This week’s Tuesday adventure had me wandering around the hill suburbs again. Enjoyed some lovely autumn colours 🍂
Feeling sad that the good progressive candidate (and former mayor), who got more first-preference votes than anyone else, looks to have lost the Dunedin City Council by-election to a right-wing newbie 😭

We had thick fog overnight, but by the time I walked along to the plant nursery volunteer morning it had lifted and we had a couple of beautiful hours of sunshine 🌞
For this week’s Tuesday adventure I did the same walk as last week, so it wasn’t especially adventurous 😆
I walked from Jubilee Park to Mornington Park and Unity Park. I could never tire of the views from Unity Park.
