Albert Camus on small-scale monuments in Italy makes me think of Masato Ogata with Jizo monuments in Minamata. Masato Ogata talks about keeping small the stone monuments that face the see commemorating all the life lost to large-scale industry run by the warring state (Japan) and a multinational corporation (Chisso had factories in Korea). The conversation about scale is in a Japanese book I don't think has been translated.. _Chisso was Me_
