OMG, I just had to use an automated tool to write an employment reference. The tool was in a "high-security" section of the network, which I could only access by installing proprietary software to emulate Windows! 🚽
Took me like ages to get it to work. The tool, it turned out, was a multiple choice form that auto-generated text. It would have been funny if it were AI, but it was more like stupid text blocks. The output was so bad, real workslop, that the admin, which has forced me to use this tool in the first place, allowed me to write the thing myself.
So, if workslop is about offloading the work to another person, then in this case, the other person was me. In other words, I was forced to produce shit, that I then had to clean up myself.
