Today’s listening is ‘The Queen Of Hearts’, the 2017 album by Offa Rex.
Offa Rex were a one-off transatlantic collaborative project between The Decemberists and the English folk singer Olivia Chaney.
This album is a beautiful collection of cover versions of ‘traditional English’ folk/folk-rock songs, originally arranged or written by such musicians as Anne Briggs, June Tabor, Ewan MacColl, Ashley Hutchings etc.
My copy comes with a print signed by the band!
