@ChrisMayLA6 The first time I read those words, I immediately thought of the Spirit, late in A Christmas Carol, that tells Scrooge "It may be, that in the sight of Heaven, you are more worthless and less fit to live than millions like this poor manโ€™s child."

It may be that in the sight of Heaven CEOs are more worthless and less fit to live than millions of lower-value human capital.

@vicfroh Billionaires like to think their money puts them at the head of any line, and the top few like to claim they are *the* richest. Let's put that in place... wealthiest of the wealthy first. After a couple of weeks, a pause.

Watch the remaining billionaires donate their money, build hospitals and schools in poor countries, electrify entire Native reservations, etc. Watch heirs announce plans to give away most of the money.

Recalibrate. Restart.

@AssociatedPress @u-s-news-AssociatedPress As the article states, it's not always that Americans feel like we're paying too much in taxes but that the wealthy, especially the ultrawealthy, aren't paying their fair share. If I'm paying more than a billionaire, that's just wrong.

Also, it often feels like we don't see enough of our tax money going into services we and our communities use or need, such as infrastructure and health care.
