if one has seen the inception of the punisher from the start in #daredevil the short film works.
Honestly though I think it needed to be a third series, the transitions were much too.fast and I dont think the emotionial weight comes to bear without the previous series.
Not sure what to make of this. Jon is, as always, killing it (ha!) as Frank Castle. The growling screams are getting somewhat overused, and I really struggled to suspend my disbelief enough for the whole setting and the fight scenes.
It's intense and brutal and a tough watch, but the choreography is impressive, and it's great competence porn to watch Frank fight. No surprises story-wise, but this short movie does a great job taking us into his broken mind.
