@meshtastic I'm wondering what @elektra_42 would think about this. Especially as she has looked at something similar with #MPR in #OLSR back then. Could people at @freifunk_berlin or others with their experiences say if this a probable or unlikely scenario/issue with #Meshtastic?
Did #OLSRv2 come up with a better, more reliable algorithm for MPRs?

@meshtastic I'm also curious about your thoughts on #OLSRv2 's flooding #MPR selection. Which tries to do the same thing, reducing the number of rebroadcasts. What might be the pros, cons and differences to Meshtastic's approach? (I guess it would not be applicable as is, as in OLSR it'd need some topology information which Meshtastic does not have?).
