First open Bee Orchid flowers of the year😄🌷
I actually see more Bee Orchids as rosettes of leaves, from September to April, than at flowering time. Some just don't flowering, but a lot are mown killing the growth point of the flowering stem.
This one was in an area where I first noticed rosettes last winter.
Bonking Hogweed Beetles (more prosaically the Common Red Soldier Beetle) living up to half of their informal name. I find them on Tansy, as here, more frequently than on Hogweed.

* Little Black Puddings Dasineura pteridis (=filicina), swollen rolled and blackened pinnule (from previous years)
* Chirosia grossicauda, curled up end of pinna
* Aceria preridis : curled up and abnormally hairy ends of pinna (first time I've ever seen it)
