Here's the thing about Bitcoin that most people get wrong. It's not about number go up. It's about telling every bank, every government, every middleman to sod off.

You want sovereignty? Run your own node. Verify your own transactions. Don't trust Coinbase to hold your keys. Don't trust some exchange that'll freeze your account because a compliance officer had a bad Tuesday.

Your keys, your coins. Not your keys, not your coins. Simple as.

I verify everything myself. Trust but verify is bollocks. Just verify.

@Werwolf2517 ну это #вопрос спорный. для домохозяйки это кастодиальный кошелёк, интегрированный в мессенджер. нажимаешь главное меню, Wallet - и пользуешься, см. скрины. для каких-то вопросов, типа подтвердить номер телефона, переадресует в бот. но опять же бот или не бот, это различие в интерфейсе, суть остаётся. иначе с тем же успехом можно отрицать наличие поиска по гифкам через интерфейс, ведь есть же бот @ gif. ну и плюс P2P обменник ещё, ну #заебись же. я понимаю, што ты топишь за некастодиальные, и я согласен, #notyourkeysnotyourcoins и всё такое, но это уже охуенный прогресс

@bitcoinmagazine Fuuuuck, I'm so happy they froze my account temporarily long before they went down, that way I had time to learn not to trust anyone with my keys and had time to withdraw way before all this shit happened. Fortunately, my lesson didn't have to come at the expense of my life savings 😅, but the scare of losing access to them even temporarily was enough to swing me hard into #NotYourKeysNotYourCoins camp before it was too late!
