So, last autumn I spotted there were two veteran pear trees on the derelict plot next to mine. I hadn't seen them in the two years I'd been on my plot. I couldn't see any blossom from the plot, as it's all too high. Here's a view from the road, about 100m away. In the interest of inquisitive enquiry (and because it's raining seriously) I drove to work today. 4km (2.5mi) in 25 minutes #NORTONLEES to #PSALTERLANE top end #SHEFFIELD. Normally I cycle. This takes 20 minutes. I hadn't realised it was quicker to bike, really I only rode a bike because I've always done it that way......
