In yet another sign that public health is dead, the North Bay Perry Sound heath unit now wants you to do your own risk assessment for *e.coli*. They will be replacing routine water sampling with... signs.

BUT - don't worry if you get e.coli because it's *mild*. (Yes, they actually say that.)

Some other pro tips from NBPS Public Health:
-Don't get water in your mouth.
-Make sure you to avoid swimming during or after heavy rainfall or high winds.
-Don't swim if there are large numbers of birds.

They're not salting the vibes tho. It's totally your call if that rain and wind you had the previous day would be considered heavy and what constitutes a large number of birds.

Who said that public health didn't learn anything from COVID? It seems clear they learned that the public won't push back against social murder.
