In Minneapolis tonight protesters have once again surrounded one of the hotels where ICE is lodging.
The noise demo made it to the front doors once again but tonight were met with a police line already form INSIDE of the hotel.
Local cops are once more directly protecting ICE.
There's original mastodon native reporting by @UnicornRiot in Minneapolis tonight.
"The ‘No Sleep for Ice’ protests, as organizers have dubbed them, began in Los Angeles during the summer and have since spread nationwide. The protests hit the news again last week, following a nighttime protest in Edina, Minnesota. "

This from Chad Loder ( @chadloder.bsky.social ) this morning on Bluesky:
"Success! ICE was forced to leave their hotel in the middle of the night after activists located where ICE was staying and surrounded the hotel with a noise demonstration. Hundreds of drivers joined in by blasting their horns as they drove by. Hotel management asked ICE to leave."
